About Sebring International Raceway
North America's oldest and most historic road racing facility is Sebring International Raceway. Nestled among the orange groves and cattle ranches of Central Florida, Sebring's 3.74 17-turn circuit is one of the toughest in the world. Originally a B-17 training base constructed in 1941, the facility has hosted sports car racing since 1950.
The first 12 Hours of Sebring was held in 1952, and has been annually- usually on the third Saturday in March. Sebring International Raceway is busy all year with private testing, Club events, racing schools, corporate events and other activities. Sebring's pit structure includes enclosed hospitality suites overlooking 64 pits. At the Hairpin turn is the Chateau Elan, a 122-room hotel and conference center.
Sebring International Raceway is located in Highlands County, adjacent to the Sebring Regional Airport, and is less than two hours driving time from Orlando, Tampa/St. Petersburg, Sarasota/Bradenton, Fort Myers, West Palm Beach and Fort Lauderdale. Our famous track is known as one of the most fan-friendly in the world, with all fans getting complete access to the paddock/garage area. No wonder we were voted one of the World's Top 10 Motorsports events by USA Today.
