Site for the 2023 SCCA National Championship Runoffs, VIRginia International Raceway first opened in 1957, and its first official event was an SCCA race that attracted stars like Carroll Shelby, Carl Haas and Bob Holbert. The track has become a fixture on the SCCA circuit, and a favorite among racers due to its dramatic elevation changes, challenging turns, and high-speed straights. This Hoosier Super Tour stop, hosted by SCCA’s North Carolina Region, will again be an opportunity for racers to prepare for the year-end Runoffs.
